Love this one. I think this is what technology is about for me - how does it make my life better / different...

For me currently it’s most valuable tool, is helping with formula’s, and coding my Excel spreadsheets, That benchmarking exercise is something I’ve also done as well.

Keep sharing your use cases for AI. I want in on this love affair with Chat GPT.

Super post and could not agree more. As a data scientist, ChatGPT has significantly improved productivity and efficiency. As a builder, I am incredibly excited about all the different initiatives that become achievable because in ChatGPT I have a mentor, software engineer, product manager, PR specialist & designer all rolled into one. And all of this for $20 a month!

Totally agree with you on this one. I use Bard and ChatGPT every day to do real work. Things like: "Go the 2023 Fancy Food Fest web site and pull a list of all the brands going. Return in a Google sheet format with columns for brand, CEO name, and web site address" Bard can do this in seconds (after some prompt tweaking) This would have taken me days otherwise to get the 3000 companies' information.

The problem I am noticing is that the GenZers in college and graduating now, don't know how to use AI to do their work for them. AI is banned in most schools and the media has demonized it for students. As a result I had to teach our 20 year old intern how to use Bard to do the boring work for her. Everyone should be toying with generative AI now and figuring out how to get it to do their work. As I told her: "AI is not going to take your job, but someone who knows how to use it better will."
